Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a unique neighborhood in the heart of Paris. It is home to many chic boutiques and bistros such as the Café de Flore. The restaurant made its first appearance around 1887 and owes his name to a statue of the goddess Flora on the opposite side of the Boulevard. It was ever since frequented by iconic intellectuals, artists and writers such as Jean-Paul Sartre, Pablo Picasso or Brigitte Bardot. This mythical place persisted through times of war and occupation and still opens its doors to hundreds of regulars every single day.
